That's why UGA thinks of Carolina the way Carolina thinks of Vanderbilt.
Let's make a deal... if South Carolina beat UGA for the 4th time in a row next year, we'll let the gamecocks move up into Tennessee's spot at #4 on our rivals list.
It's one thing talk shite about beating your opponent, which SC has the last three years, but if you do nothing with it, if you don't use that opportunity to build a meaningful tradition with meaningful results, then your proudness over 3 wins just further exemplifies your lack of a real football tradition.
I admire what Carolina has done with the abandoned factory district around the stadium, finally bought out some industry, Bain Capital style, bankrupted it, tore it down, and sold parking spaces for $1000 a pop. It's the beginning of a tradition. When we are all 80 years old, and the whipper snappers are talking shite on SkyNet, we can talk about that great old UGA-Federated States of Carolina rivalry and the time they tore down the asbestos factory to make room for tailgating at their off-campus stadium.. 8 miles off campus? How many miles exactly?

For the second year in a row the SEC office grants Georgia the JV schedule in cross divisional opponents. South Carolina has owned them two years in a row. News flash for Dawgs, if you would have been sent to Tiger Stadium like the Cocks, we'd have whipped you for 4 quarters like we did the last two quarters last year.

All South Carolina fans heard the previous 2 off-seasons was all the excuses and reasons why USC didn't REALLY beat UGA, even though they were 2-0 against the Bulldogs. All the excuses about "flukes", "unexplainable turnovers" and "trick STs plays". It was all the UGA fans had to defend themselves with.
Then came the total curb-stomping at the hands of the Gamecocks this season. You could tell the UGA team KNEW they were on a much lower tier, and had no chance, by the way they walked through the motions in dropping their pants and bending over. They looked more like a Western Carolina or a Georgia State, than UGA. Happy to take their paycheck and box of wet-naps for afterwards, and quietly go home. Except they got no paycheck....the wet-naps were all they could show for it.....
Heck, for the next 3 weeks afterwards I was watching Spike TV's "Tattoo Nightmares" to see if UGA would show up and see if they could get the "USC's B!tch" tat that's now prominently displayed on their collective arse dressed up in a nicer font. But they never showed up. I guess they have simply accepted their reality.....
So now we're talking about USC having a "moral" SEC East title? Got nothing from the game this year that can be spun into a "fluke" loss?

We had a long stretch of games and lost a tough game at Lsu and then we just ran out of steam by the time we headed to Fla. Georgia had another gift west schedule and gets to play UF on a nuetral field.
I think every Gamecock fan knew coming into the tyear that we would have a tough time ending up with a better conference record than UGA so its not really a suprise that it played out this way.
I think you are really overthinking this, if you hadnt of won the East UF still would of so it really doesnt matter to us. I dont think any Gamecock fans are nearly as butthurt as you want them to be and If stomping UGA is a moral victory than I will take one every year.
We are better than you and your football team is beneath us, its probably time to start dealing with it.
