You are correct. I overestimated his ability to prepare for the big games. Saban therefore has a large advantage.

I don't think so; Oregon's defense sucks. Depending on shootouts are not the way to win championships when facing the best SEC defenses. Case in point was USC scoring 51 points on Oregon. In sharp contrast when USC played Stanford who has a decent defense, they only scored 14. Actually, I think Kansas St. would have a better chance of beating Bama due to their better balance between offense and defense.

Again Chip Kelly's offense always gets shut down whenever they face a team with time to prepare for their offense. See Boise State in 2009, Ohio State in the '10 Rose Bowl, Auburn in the '11 NCG, and LSU last year. The only decent team they've fared well against after a layoff was Wisconsin in last year's Rose Bowl and Wisconsin's defense wasn't exactly that great giving up 76 points in two games to a pedestrian Michigan State offense and 33 points in a loss to a 6-7 Ohio State team.

Well, it is quite interesting that the OP didn't have this "thought" say a week ago when LSU still had a legitimate shot at the natty this year.
I especially enjoyed how he admitted that he "eventually accepted" Auburn's championship as legit but it's "not a team victory".

This is a garbage statement. LSU would rape Oregon just like last year. Oregon's offense looks great against the high school defenses they play every week. LSU's offense finally clicked and moved the ball up and down the field on the #1 D in the nation.
Alabama's offense did not get "exposed" against LSU. They had a bad game and they were also playing against one of the best defenses in the country on the road.
Bama would probably beat Oregon by 3 TD's. ND is garbage and will probably lose to USCw. K-State would probably give Bama a better game if they played the game of their lives.
Bama is going to win the BCSNC again and it's probably not going to be a good game.

WTF are you talking about? Bama was not garaunteed a shot at Oregon last week. They still had to beat us.
The SECR has degenerated in TIDEFANS and has therefore become useless for anything other than BAma dick sucking and flaming.

He said that he thought LSU would give Bama a good game if not win the game outright. I want to see a link to the post making that prediction. It's pretty easy to say that after the game has been played.
