It's stupid NOT to talk up your opponent. Managing expectations plays a HUGE roll in perception of a coach's success. I don't think any rational Bama fan thinks this game is going to be an outright blowout. He is speaking to the hoards of irrational fans, and rightly so.

With all that being said, the Bama D is the best in the entire nation.
The difference to me is I don't think we have the D to stop their O. They have a balanced O. So we won't be able to sell out to stop the run as we did against LSU, because unlike LSU, they could use the play action to murder us in that scenario. It's going to be tough for us on that side of the ball. And depth is still an issue.

This thread is pointless. Neither of these 2 coaches or teams has any recent baseline against each other to go off of. There's nothing to say until the game happens. What one coach or player says before this game is meaningless.
