Joker was the HC when we beat Tennessee for the first time in 26 years, beat Spurrier for the first time ever, and was a 3rd and 9 stop on the 2 yard line from potentially ruining Auburn's title two years ago.

I said before the season started that if he upset Florida this year he would have pulled off the holy trinity of Kentucky!

I'm pretty pissed that he got fired before Dooley.

I agree with you on this but we are talking WWMD* here.

They should have let Joker quit as the better way to do it.

I'm pretty sure he quit when he made his post game comment yesterday. It was like a mercy kill. I hope Joker gets a OC job somewhere and learns from this. In the end, I think he was too loyal to his coaches that were underperforming.

The UK vs UT game could be the battle of the lame duck coaches.

I like Joker, the fans were 100% behind him when he stepped up to the OC spot from WR Coach. It sucks it has to end this way.

I don't think Mitch had a lot of choice in this, if he can make a good hire. I will forgive the bastard.

It would be awesome if we could pull another accident win on UT while they are down.

Gotta love the picture of the AD doing some personal reflection while making such a tough decision...

Belle. There are some serious options out there for UK.
M.Gundy, M. Stoops, Leach, Chavis (I will personally come over there and burn your campus down and kidnap Caliperi if this hapens.), BMFP and or Shannon Dawson.

I'd love to see Joker get a win if he's even at the helm at that point. From the sounds of it, he may have decided to not finish the season.

I would fully expect Sanders to be named interim. I can't see Joker finishing out the year.

I think most know I've wanted the Pirate (or the Pirate Jr. at La Tech) for awhile now.

What's going to be important is that Kentucky makes it good and clear that they're willing to make a commitment to football. And they're going to have to show it to anyone they offer. We're in better shape then we were in the last coaching search (probation) but this could still be ugly if Barnhart and Co. doesn't nut up.

I think it will be either Mike Bellotti or Fulmer and he brings Chavis with him, and keeps Sanders.

Can UK honestly do better? I mean maybe they're jealous that Vandy is better now and they're the clear bottom dweller, but I don't think a new coach will help.
