Bama's Secondary looks really, really average...

Their Front 7 is legit. But their postseason opponent-especially Oregon-could exploit that Secondary...

That tends to happen when you are on the field for 50+ minutes.

How the hell did Mett only throw for 97 yards against us?

most secondaries are going to look average if you can't get pressure on the QB..Your Oline did a great job of giving him time

You know what tends to happen too? An offense moving the ball at will because their pace does not allow the defense to substitute. I hope your players are practicing cramp acts.

Yep. Been saying all year I would pick on # 13 Belue and Mett did with extreme efficiency.

It's bound to happen at least one game a year. Just lucky it didn't end up costing Bama the game. Couple that with the fact that Mett pulled a Garcia and had the best game of his life against Alabama.

Bad night for sure, doesn't happen often.

But little nicky saban coaches the secondary.... Wait a damn minute. Does that mean he's not omnipotent?

Yep. It was more the fault of the Offense.

hey dude...I had this game written as a L due to our pitiful play in the second half

Our safeties suck, namely perry and sunseri.

Secondaries tend to look average when you are forced to respect an outstanding running game, and you can't get pressure without blitzing.
Oregon may beat us, but not because we have an "average" secondary.

LSU's O-Line was the main cause of Bama's secondary looking average, IMHO.
Bama came close to getting him a LOT and kept hitting him hard, but Mett just kept getting the job done. I bet he spends some time in the whirlpool this weekend, for sure.
Great game, LSU.

Bama is going to crush aTm.

all those 3 and outs, all those incompletions instead of running with 6+ YPC running backs, equals sure fire way to lose the football game. LSU's offense got better and better as the game went on. They pulled off what Alabama normally does.
Just thankful for whatever it was that happened on that last drive.
