With his brother already being there and such a deep LB class this year, if he's worried about PT, maybe it's best for both parties. I think he's behind Johnson and Bryant at MLB and that's just this class. I would love to hold on to him but wish him the best if he goes.

I remember seeing a post from Volquest saying that depth chart(including other incoming LBs) played a big part in his decision to look elsewhere.

5* ATH Jaason Lewis has committed to UCLA. VOLS were considered the leader for a long time but this kid seems dead set on playing RB. Lewis was pretty upset on twitter when we landed Derrell Scott. It sucks but this kid has Jalen Hurd size but nowhere near Jalen Hurd speed. His future is as a OLB/H-Back imo.

To be fair, 247 is the only service that has him anywhere near a 5*. He's a mid level 4* on the composite and he's like 198 overall on Rivals.

I don't think anyones for sure right now, but it sounded like it could be Miramar high school in Miami. Which scares me a little bit with that being a pipeline to The U and WVU (Of all places).

That'll be something to keep an eye on I'm sure but I don't see Miami being too much of a factor for TG now, even though they used to really scare me as a wildcard.
Gibson's head coach is a former Miami player and even he wasn't able to sway TG to the U. Not to mention Lawson committed to them the other day.

I'm probably in the minority but I think TG sticks at QB. The people on this board saying he sucks at throwing are being a tad dramatic. He's actually got a pretty strong arm and throws a nice ball. He's not polished by any means but Gibson absolutely tore up one of the best divisions in all of high school football last year with his arm and his legs.
Accuracy and mechanics can be fixed but a big arm and the athleticism that TG has can't be taught. Dude is a perfect fit for the Butch Jones read option offense imo.
