Honest question/not a flame - too much talent to be weak against KY and 7 points vs. USCe. Murray threw 3 picks in the 1st half vs. Jorts (awful half of football btw).

Too much pressure on Murray to put up #s?

Well Florida has a great defense. Held LSU and USCe to barely anything.

Kentucky we were looking ahead.

Ole Miss fricked.

There are lot of Dawg fans that could give multiple reasons for it, but I think Micheal Bennett just meant that much to the offensive production. Its no coincidence that the scoring has gone down a bit after his injury. UGA has also played some good D's in the weeks since. BTW the score was a little low vs UK, but Murray did throw for over 400 yrds that game, so I would call that "Meh".

Florida is in Murray's head every year.

I still think our running game is very good, and the quarterback can still be effective when he isn't playing big time opponents.

Good post and I concur Bennett was a go-to target... Murray always looked his way.

Murray fricks up against good teams. USCe and UF are good teams.

For UK...I guess it's because we were looking ahead.

Gurley was the first back to run over 100 on the Florida defense this season

Bennett was the quintessential receiver that a QB looks to for a sure catch. Murray just doesn't have the same comfort level with the rest of the WR corps, as evidenced by the 1st half against UF. He just could not find a WR he trusted.

Gurley

iz a monster fo sho.

We contained Bama's run game well, but they are a run 1st pass 2nd offense.

Will be an interesting matchup.

I think y'all nailed it with Bennett. That dude had great hands, was the best at getting open, and he made a lot of plays on his own. We really don't have that dependable go to guy except now I'm gonna totally flip on what I said and theorize that MM26 may be slowly stepping into that role

Here's hoping. Now, if he'd just keep his trap shut.

I dont know what Bobo is thinking up in the coaches booth at times....he has a talent like Gurley who was successful in the 1st qt against the Gators and lo and behold he starts throwing against our secondary....not a wise choice imho. I was sitting there telling my stepson after the first pick...."hope he keeps on throwing" and he did. I would have run Gurley like a rented mule and punted and played field position/defense myself.

Well, when Bobo decided to keep throwing, it resulted in a tired secondary in the 4th quarter that couldn't tackle Malcolm Mitchell on a simple curl route. I guessing he thinks it worked.
