he said the players got called to the complex last night but if you went to twitter, the players were all at home playing PS3, etc.

For Firing Chizik and Jacobs rumors
We have multiple new members on the BOT on top of ones that focus on education over sports which means they aren't going to fire anybody this soon let alone in the middle of the season. They are too green and not consolidated in their power
We have a president that is committed to waiting until the end of the season to evaluate the football program (Debbie Shaw also feels this way) and have told BOT during the A&M game as well as sent out emails that show this is their plan of action
Concerning firing of Chizik
We have an AD who loves Chizik
Also, Chizik's mom just died
So anyone who runs these ridiculous rumors should be shot or something else that is horribly drastic. Who is going to make these firings happen? Nobody with authority wants to or is able to at this point

Agreed. No decision will be made on Chizik until after the season is the most obvious truth. No one is going to fire him right now. I believe JJ could be fired soon though, it doesnt matter when he gets canned. I just have hard time believing Gogue would fire anyone yet though.
