grind = pull out a win once in a while with roster full of 2* players and #50 team recruiting rankings. Moo State is a perfect example.

So I've gathered... Is it like anything that is mildly supportive of your favorite team? Seems to be used fairly liberally around here now.

You just opened up a long diatribe by MSU fans. A "grind" is a State fan talking shite. They're the "Grinders". One of their players a few years ago gave a post game interview after he set some records saying he "Grinds for his state". That being Mississippi. So now, they're the Grinders. I'm sure they'll give you much more detailed and exaggerated explanations.

I am not certain but based on what I have pieced together this week it is an incessant attempt to annoy another fanbase by making inaccurate, incomplete or distorted claims about your team's crappy schedule and the complete domination of your Sunbelt opponents.

I think it's when Saban fails to pull out of MSU's rear.
