The debate was serious and the gump finally got to me with the last post I admit. I always expect LSU to win though, truth. I have conquered gump hating as my niece is the first gump in the family. I have adjusted.

That's cool. I always expect Alabama to win, but I can also recognize when there is an issue with them. We still need to get better consistency when holding the point on the edge defensively. We are gettting better at pass protecting and Lacy getting healthy will help us tremendously.

Wish your Tigers the worst of luck when the two teams meet.

Tennessee had 8 drives of 5 or fewer plays, one of the scores came from special teams. Talk your shite about State after you beat UT this weekend and hold them to fewer yards than we did. Get the fricking homer out of your system and watch the games, Jesus Christ you are hands down the worst Bama poster on this board. Actually, hell you could be the only horrible Bama poster I like most of them.

Anyone notice that it is solely LSU fans who call Bama upsets? Sounds like someone's intimidated.

Exactly!

Sounds like some of the LSU fans "got too much Bama in them". They worry more about Bama losing than they do LSU winning.

So I guess you will not have to play any backups at all when you play Alabama.
We played all but 5 scholarship players against Troy we won't do that against Bama. And the South Alabama game, same as troy. Played lots of different people.

You stopped TN from passing the ball yet to give up over 200 yards rushing which just as bad.

I already said we sold out to stop the pass. We brought numerous blitzes from our outside LBs to try to pressure bray. Often there was nobody in the middle to stop the run for no gain. They were getting 5-6 yds due to the gaps we were leaving from our defensive scheme. We knew they couldn't beat us with the run game.

Anyway you put it, holding an offense that puts up a lot of yards each game to 350 yards is pretty good.

So we're looking past UT now . . to MSU. Nice.

This feels like 1999 all over again. I think State came to Tuscaloosa undefeated and with a lot of hype.

And we beat dat arse. With Mike DuBose as the HC.

Now tell us something we don't already know COULD happen. We're talented, but not enough to overcome poor play against teams like ya'll and state. Most of us know that

I know what you mean. LSU will have to have its best game to take Bama out. Tiger Stadium willing, we do it.

IMO we haven't seen Bama play to their potential or even play 60min yet. Bama gets up on a team and then slacks up and gets a little flat.

The only team that beats Bama this year is "Bama".

When was the last time we lost to MSU? Seriously, this thread is a bunch of wishful thinking, praying that Bama will lose to some inferior team by having an off day. I'm pretty sure this exact thread has been posted for at least 4 of our games this year. Sad what the LSU fans have been reduced to after 21-0 and their Uf loss.

This is UT week so this is a premature thread anyway.

These desperation threads are fricking awesome. We as going to beat MEU and absolutely arse drag LSU at home in front of thousands and we will win number 15. The media will make sure Notre Dame makes the dance if they are undefeated and we will embarrass them on national TV in front of millions!

Oh I'm a horrible poster because I'm stating the obvious.I gave you three solid reasons as to why I think Miss State defense is not very good and your only rebuttal is how many plays TN had in 8 tries. I do not care. You cannot call yourself a good defense if you give up over 200 yards on the ground. You cannot call yourself a good defense if you are allowing Troy to get close to 600 yards of offense or South Alabama close to 350.

I can promise that you guys would be all over it if Alabama's defense was giving up those type of numbers playing young players or not.

I do not have to wait till Alabama plays TN to talk about Miss States bad defense. I have seen Alabama defense play well. I have seen them play a full game without their two best defensive players in Milliner and Jessie Williams and still leave Western Kentucky pointless with under 250 yards. You know Western Kentucky, the little team that held Troy to less yards than Miss State.
