Article fails because human polls (coaches, harris) are 2/3 of the ranking and the computer average is the other 1/3.

We've been told this all week by Brad Edwards. Alabama's resume just isn't that impressive yet. If Bama wins the next two games they might jump up to one in the computers. If they win the next three they almost certainly will.

Most definitely.Just thought it was odd that the Computers had UA so low. I know the SOS isn't there but Bama has been tooling all over the competition so far. I thought that would have played in to it somehow.

For the most part, the computers don't take into account margin of victory.

UF is going to be #1 in computer polls, but 4th or 5th in human polls. They will probably be ranked 3rd in the BCS.

The one thing that is bad about LSU winning, is that it brings out the rantards in full force with stupid threads about Bama, etc. when if they lose there is just the usual bitching about Miles' offense or the refs screwed them.

This is an article about the BCS rankings and the shocker was that Bama was not Number 1, UF was. Try reading next time.
