Does anyone think that JLS intentionally said “Alabama” hoping to get fired in order to get some much need peace and quiet in his life?

Nope. Think he said it because he's just a little out of touch with reality. Just a guess though...

No, he needs the money. At the end of the season he'll be dragged kicking and screaming from his desk complaining about how his hot piss isn't smiling at Alabama and how the aliens are gonna get him.

I think the assistants are mutinous. They are stuck and they are sticking it to us. JL fired their mentor, JLS was the worst coach Last season not named Bobby Allen. JLS was likely given instructions to stay out of the Paul's ways and to motivate the team and take the media's eye off of Petrino.
Now what was likely assumed was that we'd continue winning.
