Seems like he was forgotten after the emergence of McFadden. I used to really enjoy watching him when he wasn't playing LSU. He was a machine in college. He made me nervous before playing LSU. I thought he would have amounted to more in the NFL. Now he's a member of the Arkansas "Twisters".

ETA: I thought about him because a local BR station is showing a replay of 2001 LSU v. Ark game, and he was starting tailback. Also, Matt Jones was a Freshman QB that year. He was Tim Tebow, before it was cool to be Tim Tebow.

I'm pretty sure the Twisters are gone now. They became the Diamonds for a year and then that was it. He went to a high school just a couple miles from where I grew up in Little Rock.

Not Tebow, but he was a freak. He could really run and scramble around with the best of em. I was sad when Tebow broke his SEC qb rushing yardage record.
