Don't give a shite if GA ripped his helmet off or not, I'm just pissed our guys didn't think to do it to Jarvis Jones. We may have had a chance if we kept him on the sideline every other play.

Can't say I'm surprised it certainly looked like it from the student section, and Georgia was faking injuries to slow down the pace of the game. I'm not a fan of the new rule because players are taking advantage of it

That sure was a costly series of faked injuries, wasn't it? I mean, 21 points worth?

You ARE saying that's why you lost, right?

Sorry Georgia fans, but obviously we have some shitty, whiny arse posters like everyone else. Most Mizzou fans here know the real deal. Georgia took it to us the last quarter of the game and showed they were the better team.

Most of us can man up and admit it without any excuses.

It's OK, we are all just having a good time.

Nick Fairley nearly killed Jordan Jefferson after a false start and the refs excused him because he "didnt hear the whistle".

And LSU fans cried like little girls about it.

Thought I read somewhere that if the helmet is intentionally ripped off and an official interprets it that way then the player doesn't have to come out.

You have GOT to be kidding me. Our DT and OL got knocked out of the game, not exactly faking.

Cry me a river.

Unless it's about buying refs, pass interference call/no-calls, chop blocking, Nick Fairley, or generally anything Auburn. Then, your bitching will be expected.

Said Georgia player unhooked chinstrap and pulled off his helmet off in the pile

I'm not reading this whole thread, but it seems like this would be pretty easy to confirm or disprove. Was there even an instance where Franklin lost his helmet during a pile up? There is almost always a camera on the QB so we should at least be able to confirm that this allegation is remotely possible.

Here's Franklin's & Pinkel's quotes...
quote:

On the first, Franklin said his shoulder pads got popped up over his head and knocked his helmet off. The second time, he felt a player grab his chinstrap and rip it off and yank the helmet off, too. “I’m sure our players didn’t take it off,” Gary Pinkel said. “And I’m sure he didn’t take it off. It just happened. … Every single time his chinstrap was snapped off. It didn’t just slide off. So, I don’t know what to say.”

Here’s the game tape, 1st lost helmet at 12:40…the 2nd at 2:28:40, I think the video evidence refutes Mr. Franklin’s claim, he just got his shite rocked by Jenkins & Jones…

I can't watch the video right now, but if the only two times he lost his helmet was clearly due to getting popped (and not someone reaching up and unhooking the chin strap and pulling his helmet off like they allege), then Frankin and Pinkel are losing a lot of respect with this whiny bullshite.

Im not bitching about any of this what so ever...

You cant say for sure either way whether or not it was true on the second play that Franklin alleged.

Its all moot and doesnt mean anything but please spare everyone the faux impartiality.

Thanks.

LOL Wut? The second play was clear, he got sacked and his helmet came off. It's clear that no one had the time to go in and maneuver it off by undoing his chinstrap. If any of the two were to be questioned it would be the first one where it's unclear exactly what happened but there being a pile would suggest we could have taken it off.

Faux impartiality? It's video bro.
