Our Defense looked outstanding against a team whose only weapon is a scrambling QB, but will we be able to get enough pressure on Tyler Wilson to prevent him from standing in the pocket on picking us apart? This is the real question, because Belue is very green and Sunseri doesn't take the greatest angles. If we can limit the Arky run and get enough pressure on Wilson then we should be fine, but only time will tell. Roll Tide.

UM defense> Ark defense

Bama offense>>>>>>>>>>Ark defense.

Bama doesn't need to hold teams to eight points this year to win games.

I can understand the questioning of the secondary. I can. But,

WTF? We weren't being overly aggressive with Denard. If you are over aggressive he escapes. We basically built a fence around him the entire game to keep him contained. Has anyone NOT seen that ?

I'm concerned about the secondary as well.

Didn't get to watch most of the game, but I'd assume that Bama's gameplan for Arkansas and Michigan would be very very different.

I understand the defensive line scheme vs. Michigan... it worked well and the game is over. I'm talking about Arkansas.

i don't think bama had enough respect for michigan's pass game, therefore they gave up some plays in the air. until arkansas proves they can beat bama, i wouldn't be concerned if i were you. tennessee's wr's look like the will give a lot of teams fits though.

I don't know about all that, I just can't wait to see Mr. Wilson get beat up like a Rock-em Sock-em robot again, then cram his head back on each time, pop back up, spit some blood and return to the huddle - over and over again.

Just relax man. During the UM game, our defense essentially just boxed DR up to keep him from running. The same way we did Tebow a few years back. When you take away Robinson's ability to run, that leaves him 2 options; handoff, or throw. When you throw as many times as he did, you're bound to land one of them.

When the defense doesn't have to worry about a true mobile qb, they'll be able to pin their ears back and rattle them.

Just relax and enjoy how the season unfolds.

ETA: UA beat me to it. Oh well. I should learn to read.

UM had a pretty potent passing attack and thanks in large part to a inaccurate QB fell behind

The secondary played a lot better than I expected honestly and we ran a whole lot of passive coverages nothing aggressive like we.will against Arkansas, and wewere focused on spying the QB because he was a run threat, again not the case when we play Arkansas

We had 3 INTs, 1 returned for TD, the SEC and National POW from the secondary as well (Dee Milliner) not too shabby

We'll be fine.against the Hogs and MORE than fine against LSU

Millner is the best CB in the country IMO.

Man Milliner was all over some WRs in that game. He was step for step. I was blown away. He's gotten A LOT better.

we will not only have to worry about Wilson, but KNILES is a threat - so our secondary will have to keep an eye on him as well.
