New QB recruit boys - John O'Korn Some talk that he may actually be higher on our board than Dobbs right now. Apparently this guy basically came out of nowhere his senior year. Knocked off Cord Sandberg and national #1 Manatee in the playoffs before winning the Florida 7A state title -- which is where we first saw him. The first 3:00 of this video is just highlights from the state championship game.

his video is solid. has a very good arm and looks to run well also. IMO, we need to offer this kid and get him to visit...his interview on 247 sounds like he would be very interested if we did offer

I'm just ready to get a decent QB recruit that I have confidence will actually show up on campus next fall. Especially after the debacle last year that led to taking a guy like Schuessler who had no business being signed and now the risk of losing Sandberg to MLB. At this point, unless there is a significant difference in our staff's rating of the two, I would offer both Dobbs and O'Korn and the first one willing to flip has the spot. They both look like pretty good prospects to me.

Dak was far better than decent, but I get your point.

Kalio is in the boat and trying to bring fish with him, I have heard this from several people. Plus on Scout Gene came out and said he was 100%, and knowing what he told him off the record he could assure that. I generally just take what they say as raw information rather than truth but Gene doesn't talk about recruiting much at all and when he does you can bank on it. His quote was something like Kalio isn't Cj Johnson, he isn't going to stab anyone in the back and I can tell you from what he has told me on and off the record he is a bulldog.

What I am reading (following up on talking to a friend) is that KM did this today. Has not talked to coaching staff at all. His mother did not even know he did it. In fact, his mother had talked to the coaches last night and everything was fine. ALL is what I am now reading. I know that OM people have been stating for a few weeks now that there would be a christmas surprise.... KM was to be it.

Woulard was set to announce on Jan. 5, but he pushed it back today. If we get a visit, we may have a decent shot. I'm not sure where we stand with him, but if he were to announce on Jan. 5th, we'd have no shot since he hasn't visited us.

From what I read UT and someone else of whom I can't recall are really hard after him.

I figured we didn't have a shot. We better get Dobbs or O'korn.

Woulard has set an OV to UK. Dobbs is going to OV with us although the date is not yet set. O'Korn likely does as well.

UT has not offered him -- nor has any other SEC school yet.

I have no new news, but he should have gotten back his ACT score by now. Daniel is also a qualifying risk who recently took his ACT, so we should know something on that front as well soon.

This thread is dead and needs some updating. Who do we think we end up with and do we think CJ de commits?
