bama sucks. They never had any sustained success after that damned cheat bear drank himself to death and they'll be right back to mediocrity when that turncoat saban leaves. Yet they act like they never left. I've never witnessed a fan base with such little integrity. That's why they'll always be 100% reliant on a coach. It'll never be about the program or the people around it.

Most national titles
What a bunch of johnny come latelies.
Alabama was the best program in the south long before bryant, and now long after...i'd say that's the definition to sustaining. You act as though 95-05 was the norm and not the anomaly.
2 undefeated seasons since the bear left (2 more than lsu)
2 one loss seasons since the bear left
3 national titles since the bear left
Basically what im saying is you're butthurt

Because LSU fans dont know how to act.
Other coaches from various teams in the SEC went to other schools and I never hear anyone acting like that from other fan bases in regards to schools.

But we did have some good teams in the 80s. We were a consistent Top 15 team for much of the decade.

1986 - #9
1987 - NR

We had some good teams in the 80s, we could just never close up the deal in the seasons where we had great teams.
