Saw Isaac Haas along with a lot of other recruits today at the game.

Not sure how this got unpinned, but Coach Grant is watching Justin Coleman tonight. Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia, Tenn, and Memphis will also be there.

18 days of no activity will do that.

But fo reals, it will be re-stickied after football NSD.

What I was told about CJ is that he's a much more athletic and skilled Nick Jacobs. Hale is a face up 4 who can hit shots around the perimeter but has transformed his body to be able to be a banger down low as well.

Turman is also apparently a beast on the boards according to ESPN. I wish he was in the 2013 class.

What has been our plan in big man recruiting?

We don't sign skilled big guys.

We don't sign athletic big guys.

They are big I guess.

I actually like the recruiting... Moussa was the top JUCO in the nation and landing Lacey and Pollard were landmarks. I like that Grant is trying to keep our quality local talent here (lord know they have no reason to go to AU)... Defense is good, always been good, great when there's an offense to back it up.

Problems... originally we cut him slack since we hadn't had quality shooters in a while, now we do. A new assistant is vital if Grant wants to reproduce what he and Billy D did at UF. Everyone on staff has connections with his success at VCU and sadly, the seat may need to get warmer for him to get the message.

So no, Grant does not need to go anywhere if he's capable of shaking things up so his kid's aren't playing second fiddle to the softball and gymnastics teams. .

Kobi Jordan-Simmons is a bigtime 2016 recruit and while its early, judging by his twitter account we are 10 touchdowns (for you football folks) ahead of everybody else in his recruitment. The kid looks like he watches or keeps track of every one of our games and roots for us all the time. Like I said, it is early, but if we could somehow convince Langford to stay home and this kid to come that would be one hell of a recruiting class in itself.

@jerrymeyer247: 2014 pg Tadric Jackson has slew of offers. Told 247Sports Alabama and Florida State r his favorites. Both have him thinking they play fast.

So as of right now we know we lead for Turman and Jackson

I don't know what the frick Grant is telling these kids to convince them that we play fast. They all mention it as something they like about our program though. I guess they don't watch many games or just think that it's fast because even a slow, boring offense like ours looks like fricking Paul Westhead is running the show to a highschool kid.

A lot of national guys were laughing when Meyer posted that because we play at a slow pace and it's gotten slower each year. We are in the bottom 40 in pace I think.

"We get a shot off within 35 seconds of every possession."

Sounds pretty badass to some HS kids.

That makes me so sad. Seriously. Its just depressing how slowly we play.

Dan McDonald said Jackson is Senario Hillman with a better skillset.
