Here's an Antravious Simmons article: LINK
He basically says VCU is 1, Bama is 2, and South Carolina is 3 on his list. VCU talks with him the most. I'd hope our top remaining post targets would be in the order of Martin, Jones, and then Simmons. All three are good players though.

I know coaches stick up for their players, but this is a bit overboard.

Ain't much Grant can do about Jones since he is set almost strictly on academics. I'd personally rather have Simmon's abilities over Jones', but with him, there is a possibility of him transferring if he doesn't see the PT he desires. All three are quality players though. Martin would certainly be the man I'd aim for with that 4th scholarship though. Kid is a monster athletically and can play on the perimeter some as well with range extending to the 3 pt line.

He's not saying hes like Bynum now playing in HS, hes saying playing against HS competition he can dominate the game in the same way Bynum does in the NBA.

What about the Canadian? I'd rather get him and Barber. I hope Taylor has Jones offensive's game, b/c that cat looks really nice. Smart dude too.

Of course I agree but I think we will somehow take 4-5 this time. Depends on who commits first.

You also have higher hopes for Trayvon Reed than me. If we could land Reed that'd be the much better option and even if not it still might be the better option (especially if our shooting woes do continue). It really doesn't matter to me which one of those prospect we use that 4th scholarship on. PG is the only position we need, everything else is gravy. Though I am hoping for some great gravy (Jarrell Martin PLZ)

Some talk today that Hale is dying for a UNC offer. I haven't followed his recruitment very closely, but how close is he to getting one?

I usually would say GTFO with that BS but dont know how a kid couldnt get a offer from anyone but from us but then just get one from UNC. He wont get one from them. He is good but not that caliber of a prospect IMO.
