Not even in the rivals 250?
Just having some fun with you Aubbies , couldn’t help it. Okay, in before the whole he was number one on our board blah blah… really hard to say since NONE of us sit in in recruiting meetings at LSU. That being said I will take a crack at what I think happened… we offered him a week before JJ committed to Auburn, and to be honest I think Rettig always would have been #1 on our board if we knew we had a decent shot with him. Krags just went out to visit the kid not long ago and realized then how much interest he had in our program. Also, Cali kids haven’t worked out for us too well in the past as far as de-comittments go and with an OOS QB (Kiel)backing out last minute this past class…..I’m sure our coaches felt better about JJ especially since he was from the south. But, I could be completely wrong, cause once again NONE of us sit in on recruiting meetings. In the end, I think all three of us got solid qb’s in this class and I’m really excited to watch them all progress….which is really what matters most.
Man, football can’t get here soon enough

This is a surprise to you? We've known this for a while.

Thats ok...we have Tom Bradys old QB coach.

Nah, no surprise....just think its silly to say who our coaches coveted more when we really don't have a clue. Seemed to be a hot topic last week when Rettig committed

Tom Brady's old coach...Well, that can't hurt. Is he the new OC? What type of O does he run compared to Malzahn?

Yes.

We are all waiting to see. He runs variations of pro style and spread.

quit it bro, memphisplaya e-mailed a bunch of AU fans and gave them the skinny about JJ being #1 on the LSU big board

I don't think Rivals has ever seen Jeremy in person so the ranking is no surprise.

Some of the time....the joke is the hundreds of bad arse players they miss every year, it's impossible to watch film on everyone, I get that....but there is nothing better than finding a diamond in the rough, Miles has a knack for that :-) (Mo and the HB mainly come to mind)

no worries. The other JJ was always impressive to outsiders throwing in shorts and a tee.

Woaah.... I knew God is on your side
I kid. I kid. I know what you mean. Just seems like everybody and their mom wants to associate with Terrific Tom...

Do you know why they have Rettig ranked higher than Bateman?

wait, so you don't think a GA was responsible for all of Tom Brady's success??

He wasnt even a GA when Brady was there. He was his teammate.

This.
That a boy, Trey...don't let them talk about Tom like that

Scott Leoffler is my least favorite coach in the history of Michigan football. I will never miss an opportunity to set the record straight.

That's funny, because he became a GA in 1997.
Tom was drafted in 2000.
I'm no math whiz, but...
