As quite a few SECr posters live in (or around) the area – I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with Mizzou’s Softball Camp. I know their team has done fairly well this year, and I’m considering sending my 9 year old Darling Daughter (if you want pics, get help now).

You should really consider sending your men's baseball squad.

Since they've probably already had the woman's softball team, most don't want to be seen in Columbia.

Don't live anywhere close. However, if she's talented and you think she may stick with it, any chance you have to help her with it would be valuable. Who knows, she might even learn enough to get a scholarship offer or two down the road.

- I'm more interested in her developing a good work ethic at this point.

I have a cousin who sent his daughter and had great things to say about it. I would imagine if Mizzou's coaches are involved, it would be pretty good. They do a great job with our team.

Yes they do. That's one of the reasons we're looking at Mizzou for the Camp. For the $$$, I thought I'd check with people that might have been down this road before.

I don't know much. Only that my cousin sent his daughter there, a couple of times I think. She just graduated HS and is going to a small college on a softball scholarship. They had a good experience. I don't know about the $$$, but would assume that as far as camps go it would be a good one.
