just like A&M and Colorado were?
The money in question is larger than an exit fee. That's just not going to be a deciding factor

I don't have that much experience with Hokies, but some did come to visit my chapter a few times. I know you have quite a bit of experience with them. Those people are fricking weird, but no one here believes it.

Well given all the rumors about (insert name of any school with an agricultural program) (or, in Arkansas case, insert incest comment here) they would fit right in.

I think those who say UVA would stand in the way of VaTech moving to the SEC are correct. If UVA found another home, they might agree. Maryland would kill for a Big10 invite, but I'm not at all sure UVA would go for a package with the Terps. They'd likely try to get the baby blue goats from Chapel Hill invited with them. Would UNC go without Duke? I don't know, but their faculty might fancy themselves and the Wahoos in the "elite" Big 10.
I'm afraid the Terps could get left out of the next set of moves.

No, they're not. We've been in attendance top 25 ever year except 2011.
And learn how to respond to the correct person.

I am responding to the right person. You are in here with your bullshite trolling act again and I am calling you on it.
UK average (announced) home attendance has fluctuated by as much as 10k in the last 10 years depending on how and who y'all are playing. Sorry boss but a 10k swing is a pretty damn big indicator of your fanbase being fairweather.

Personally, I believe Virginia will indeed get a Big10 invite, but if they don't I believe the SEC would scrap the state of North Carolina in order to land the entire state of Virginia (VaTech + UVA).
Make no mistake, though, we can debate the eventual choice all day long, but I guarantee you that when the SEC expands to 16 that it will involve teams that are based in Virginia and/or North Carolina. If for whatever reason(s) the SEC can't get into those states, the SEC will stand firm at 14 for a little while until the Big10 acts.
And as I mentioned earlier, GaTech/Clemson/Louisville should never even be brought up in SEC expansion discussions because those three schools will NOT be in the SEC and aren't even under consideration (although each of the three would jump at an SEC offer in a heartbeat). Florida State is an interesting case, as they would actually increase the pie long-term, but even FSU won't be getting an SEC invitation anytime soon, if ever.

No. You responded to the wrong person you dumb arse.
Sorry we don't put up with bullshite coaches and shitty arse teams like the Ags do. We want Joker gone and so we'll make sure it happens the only way we can.

I really, really, really doubt UVA leaves UNC behind unless the ACC is basically imploding. Certainly not for a couple mil a more per year.
Posted on 5/17/12 at 4:49 pm to Wishnitwas1998
I actually believe the FSU/Clemson to Big12 is done, it's just a matter of time now. The only question IMO is will the Big12 go to 14 instead of 12 and include GaTech/Pitt.
There's a big difference between $17mil per year and $25mil+ year. That's an offer that neither school will be able to pass up considering Florida and USC will be making $30mil+ per year. You can't be pulling in $13 million per year less in TV money than your rival and expect to remain competitive long-term.
Who knows, but IMO FSU and Clemson will be Big12 members by summer's end. And then the rest of the dominos will begin to fall as the Big10 and and SEC raid the ACC's remaining football schools.

Taking UVA into the SEC would be like getting the worst attributes of Tulane and Ole Miss bundled together, with an extra dose of arrogance thrown in.

If that's the case, who would have thought that the big 12 and the big east would outlast the ACC?
