They are taking some heat for it, but I don't think it was a terrible decision. Cousins was a pretty good QB and with some development could be a decent starter at some point. He will provide a good backup and there is always the threat of RGIII getting hurt (he is a scrambler and he is kind of small).
Not to mention Cousins could be a commodity like Flynn and be used as a bargaining chip later on.

It's not too bad compared to usual. Usually it's around 5 am. But I have to cover a kids triathlon tomorrow.

Mavs are trying to shock the world and upset the Thunder. Would be interesting of 2/3 of the main title contenders didn't make it out of the 1st round.

Yeah, I wasn't really criticizing them for it. I guess he's a much better option than Sexy Rexy.

Not saying you were, but it is the headline for the post draft article on sportsillustrated. Maybe they had other needs, but I still think they can makeout alright with a 2nd QB and possibly come out ahead.

As long as RGIII pans out, they should be ok. They didn't really have any glaring needs outside of the OL.

Guess I'll be pulling for the Hawks soon... assuming that they make it past this round.
