Best: Davey. Russell had more 'talent' but Davey had the it factor.
Worst: At first glance I was going to say Jefferson, but if this goes back to 1990 have to say Sol Graves.Absolutely brilliant fellow, but not an SEC QB. Only time in my life I've seen a SR QB yanked out of a potential game winning drive on second down with less than a minute left.

Best: I guess it would have to go to Tebow if you go by accolades alone.
Worst: John Brantley

Worst: I think Simms is worse than Rick Clausen
I don't think there's a question about this. Rick Clausen at least had a good win in the Cotton Bowl. Simms didn't beat ANYONE with a pulse.

Worst: Sorahan or Johnson? I don't know anyone from the early 90s.

Cobb was one of those players every team seems to have once a decade that for whatever reason it seems they were there 20 yrs. In Cobb's case he was a 6th yr sr which led to comments about playing with Bo, Pat Sullivan, etc.

Best: McCannon could end up being the best QB since the 90s. He will have opportunities to win another BCSCG and if he stays for two more years, he will re write the 'Bama record book.
Worst: Spencer Pennington

joe (sucks) cox was terrible
why don't you look at his numbers. I believe he set at the time the school record for TDs in a season. Of course he wasn't our best QB, but he damn sure wasn't the worst. I can think of 2 games immediately that we don't win without him. And you can't just say "well he had AJ"..so what? Is David Greene only good because he had Fred, Reggie, Watson, Musa, and a hell of a defense?

i cant think of a worse one
The 2 I mentioned would fit that bill.

Bobo was pretty good,
In 97 he was.

Quincy was good at UGA and cory Phillips had a great yr as well,
How come Cory Phillips gets a pass and Cox doesn't?

Tuberville finally got the hell out of his way and let Borges do work.
