I've always felt like Ole Miss fans aren't as enthused when we beat y'all as y'all are when y'all beat us. Just saying.
When we beat LSU everyone seems more excited about that.

interesting since the half the documentary was about a crazy man poisoning Auburn's trees.

You pretty much nailed it. What you have to realize about Auburn is that their football program revolves around what Alabama does. Auburn has always been focused on beating Alabama while Alabama has always been focused on winning NC's.
auburn will always be this pathetic little program across the state that spends their every waking moment trying to climb from behind the shadow of big brother.
As for LSU, we don't hate LSU but we have a lot of respect for them. We want to beat them but that is not hating them. LSU is a much more respectable program and competitor for us now than Auburn has ever been with respect to challenging us for the NC.
LSU is not trying to beat BAMA they are trying to beat everyone and that is the difference between them and the Barn.
The reason why AU fans hate most of the UA fans is because of the arrogance of the uneducated and redneck fans (some are alums). These people's lives have been so miserable over the years because society has looked down their nose at them. For years they looked for something to associate themselves with that could be considered successful, with that they had to be able to look down their nose at someone else. They only way they could feel superior to any element of society was through football, they felt their GEDs were greater than an AU degree. The alum have had to hear that AUs academics was far greater than UATs over the years, so again they had to revert back to football to show supremacy. They felt that anyone that challenges their only outlet for success has to be denigrated to the point that they all start believing their own shite. These people are your wifebeaters and racist, who still wish they could live in the 60's, except for 12 weekends a year.
Not all bama fans are like this, but the ones discribed above are unfortunately considered the norm.

If you watched that documentary and actually took it for more than a grain of salt then you shouldn't even be posting on here. Like a bama poster said it was an hour long segment on Harvey Updyke.

Who is looking down on others now.....
Hey, guess what, auburn is in the SAME DAMN STATE. Your fans are uneducated rednecks too. Being an auburn fan doesn't make anyone smarter or better off than Bama fans.

Seriously...we all (well, not me anymore) live in Alabama. We share similar demographics. We're not all that different...there are as many hick Gumps as there are goat-humping Barners.
