He's been knocked out of a bunch of games, so it wouldn't surprise me. He's going to get hit a ton if Borges can't get Bama on their heels.

IMO, I'd be surprised if Mett doesn't win the Heisman.

He will at least get an invite. No doubt about it. LSU being undefeated at that point for a second year in a row will help tremendously.

FWIW, I was completely sarcastic. I just figured since Alabama fans could say some of off-beat shite, I might as well do the same.

because its true. he is small and likes to run around. bama's D is huge and likes to crush quarterbacks. its the natural outcome of things. shoelace will be lucky to last 4 quarters.

I would put Bray at number two, especially if all his WR's are healthy...

What was off beat? McCannon should be close to the best QB in the SEC this year if not the best. You don't think he will be top 3?

Your QB hasn't done a single thing. My QB won a national championship.

After speaking to my Bammer friends

1) Phillip Sims

2) Phillip Ely

Alabama's playing with themselves at practice is their toughest opponent

Aaron Murray, Tyler Wilson and Tyler Bray laugh at your gumpness

He is a good quarterback, but he sure as hell doesn't have a "cannon" for an arm and is NOT top 3 quarterback in the SEC, talent wise. He just has a great defense and steady offense

By game 3, it will be obvious to all that Mettenburger is number one or two on that list.

Bank it? Book it? Fact?

Let me speak as a rational LSU fan. Mett could very well win the Heisman but it would be completely unexpected. He will be the starting QB on the Pre Season number 1 or 2 team. We have an easier schedule than last year and we still have a beast for a defense. Mett certainly is poised to have enough attention casted upon him to do so.

You know what all 3 of these guys have in common? They are behind McCannon in completion percentage.

That's terrific. I wonder which NFL teams will take him before all of these qb's in the draft just because of that fact

2011
Tyler Wilson 148.4
Connor Shaw 148.3
AJ McCarron 147.3
Aaron Murray 146.4
Tyler Bray 144.8
--------------------------------
Minimal difference. Those other 4 QB's could have been on the BCS CG winning team. Tyler most likely would have been conference champion.
========================
As a comparative device, Jarrett Lee had a rating of 152.
