2007 wasn't so bad but i guess #2 final ranking sucks in your book. and Boise State in 2011 is head and shoulders better than 2012 Mizzou as was 2009 Okie State or hell any of those south carolina teams. we lose 3 men in our secondary but we already have talented back ups and by no means is our secondary our defensive strength. that'd be our fully in tact front 7 that is now improved as well as deeper. but that's ok because the missouri offense isn't even a damn juggernaut. they signed one 18 yr old WR phenom and suddenly dumb asses like you think we are facing a top 10 offense. for all we know franklin may still be healing his shoulder by the time we play not to mention their entire WR corp is made up of unknowns, their RBs are of no note, and i have never heard much praise for their OL. i'd take a depleted secondary and the rest of our defense vs missouri.
but then there is our offense which by all accounts is pretty damn good outside of a putrid OL but we are in luck because from what all i hear the mizzou DL is their biggest question mark. so i'll take our 4 RBs, our receiving corp, and aaron murray over a former big 12 D. will the game be close, probably, it's mark richt, but barring catastrophe georgia isn't going to lose.
and as far as you "buying" us i think i speak for the whole georgia contingent when i say

A&M was the 4th most winningest team of the 90s. A&M was the 10 th of the 80s. Were ranked in the top 3, three times in the 70s.
That's why media thinks the Ags could make a comeback. We fired our most successful coach in 2002, and hired 2 scrubs.
Again, it's coaching.

I also don't understand why people think A&M has SO much more potential than Mizzou.
You can't be this dumb, right? You really don't understand huh?

Any championships at the end of that one?
Also that was quite an extensive response for someone who doesnt care...

merely pointing out the breakdown of the match up, it's not rocket science for most of us

A&M may have more resources nearby, but they have stiff competition in their own backyard whereas Mizzou sits as the lone relevant FBS program in a state of over 6 million.
Sure we have stiff competition, but we are a flagship school in the state of Texas and we are in the SEC. That is pretty significant. You can be the lone relevant FBS schools in the great state of Missouri, the state of Texas is a recruiting hot bed. I like where we are situated at the moment.

Stop responding to me with the Mizzou comments. It's making me looking like I said the dumb shite.
I think A&M is the better addition.

Taking it in the arse has been an aTm tradition for decades. That is why their university is delighted to now have the opportunity to be raped week in and week out in the SEC.

TJ Moe something like 140 receptions the last 2 years and Lucas was a 4 Star WR with near a 20.0 avg reception last year as a backup yeah they are unknowns, if you are a hayseed and only follow your own team

i mean i'll be the first to admit that i know more about the current SEC teams. that being said, i don't think 90% of the posters on this site would know any of the individuals you just listed aside from Big 12 teams and perhaps an sec fan living in mizzourah.
i personally think the georgia front 7 vs the Mizzouri OL and RB corp is a more important match up than our secondary vs your receivers. if y'all can't block the guys up front out depleted secondary will handle just fine and if mizzou contains the rush then it may be an issue. i just can't see the front 7 not making head way

well at least we will always have that 73-0 beating we put on y'all in the early 90s

You're right. That's going to give you a huge advantage over us.
