Cecil the Diesel.
Most pathetic: Larry Foster. WR run down by a band member after snatching a purse on campus. smh.
quote:
On December 16, 1999, Collins committed burglary in Palm Trace Landings, an apartment complex in Davie, Florida. He admits he broke into the home of a married woman that he knew from the gym, but said he only wanted to watch her sleep. After conviction on the charge, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Collins was married in 2006, and has a daughter from a previous relationship. Collins, Florida Department of Corrections# 199596, is located in the Desoto Annex facility. He entered prison on March 27, 2001. As of 2011 his current release date is February 18, 2014.[1]

I think Cannon is more notorious for LSU because he was LSU's only heisman winner and his career was not so short lived at LSU
quote:
Despite a successful practice, by 1983 he was in financial difficulties from bad real estate investments and gambling debts. He became involved in a counterfeiting scheme and served 2½ years of a five-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana.[5] He printed $50 million in U.S. 100-dollar bills that he stored in ice chests, buried in the backyard of one of the houses he owned and rented out.

panic pick as boss walked by when I was thinking about them.
Sherm the Worm has served the most time of the others listed - JJ, McCants, DJ Hall. I think the others all got out with lesser time due to probation. Sherm did 7 the hard way.

Cecil Collins in a walk ... though Larry Foster's purse snatching incident in the quad deserves some consideration. When he got tackled by a white, frat guy I knew we were in trouble.
ETA: How did I forget Billy Cannon? Has any other Heisman winner done hard time in a state pen?
