Our freshmen played like freshmen today. Nick Jacobs played turrible. Cooper was awful, and Lacy didn't show up. Randolph had a few moments, but was schooled by Henry. Releford and Steele had way too many turnovers. Bama stunk up the Tad Pad.

Nothing new. Off the top of my head I can think of one impressive showing we have had in Oxford in the last decade. I'm more concerned with how poorly we are suddenly playing now than losing a game I didn't expect us to win. We are back on the bubble and sweating it out next Sunday if we frick around and lose to USCe again.

Beat USC and lose in the 2nd round and we'll get a favorable seed. That's the only positive I can take from this game.

I thought the guard play was the worst it has been all year. Bama had to have 18-20 turnovers. Nick Jacobs was pitiful, his defense makes me want to vomit.
Everyone is blaming JaMychal but he was the only guy playing. He wound up with 11 points and 13 rebounds. I thought Cooper, Hankerson and Lacy gave Bama nothing today. Releford hit a couple of threes but made way to many turnovers.
The key play of the game came when Bama was down five, stole it on the press and then threw the ball away on a runout. Bama never threatened after that.

What pisses me off the most is that we have the talent to beat just about anybody. We just don't have that chemistry. It helps when shots fall. But damn, we have scored 106 points in two games.

Our RPI is 25 and SOS is 17 so we'll probably be a 8-10 seed if we show up against USCe this time.
They decided not to even show up in this game. Their lack of energy looked so much like the USCe game.

Your lack of depth at the post was glaring. We got in the lane at will and if we could make free throws we would have won by 20. We are probably 5th in the league talent wise but lost some games we shouldn't have because of free throws and turnovers.

In a weird way I think its better we lost this game assuming we get by USCe next Thursday. If we go 1-1 in New Orleans next week we will be a 10 or at worse an 11 seed and avoid a potential 1 seed in the 2nd round. I think we get in regardless but a loss to USCe could possibly put us in one of the Dayton games.

man I had high hopes this season.....what a bad bad basketball teams at times....absolutely horrible...
