Another thing that is happening that day is the Cotton District Arts Festival which will have 25,000 or more to attend, of which my wife and I will attend and also go see and hear SL.........

It is no shock that you're going to attend and enjoy the Cotton District "Arts" Festival before akkin' a foo' at a Sugarland show.

Agreed.
Though getting Iron and Wine for Double Decker is pretty exciting.

So let me get this straight.
your shortening the spring games field so that you can bring in sugarland? what is your plan to get all the recruits girlfriends into MSU?

I like Iron and Wine, but I don't think he's good for Double Decker.

I can see this. I love him and his band but I don't know how it could be very good at a loud, outdoor street festival with half the crowd probably not knowing who he was. Might not be a good mix for the type of band you have to sit still and really listen to.

Is it too late to move the venue to the baseball stadium? You can set the stage up in right field and modify the ground rules. Any fly ball to right field is an automatic out. Any ground ball through the right side that goes up under the stage is a ground rule double. You can sit the right fielders and play 8 or let them play shortfield in left. Instead of having the concert after the game, Sugarland can do songs between innings.

I have a good artist friend from Biloxi that will spend the weekend with us in Grenada and we will all go to the festival where she will display her art........and my wife loves SL......

Sarcasm might be foreign to MSU fans. I'll put you down as "OK to frick up football and not OK to frick up baseball."

ETA - Oops! Forgot y'all don't have football - so I guess maybe it was sarcasm.

Well this is Sugarland playing... they have to take extra time to make sure the stage doesn't collapse this time.

I like the idea. If possible I would have gotten someone besides Sugarland, but still a cool idea.

Sugarland's roadies and MSU's events crew are obviously not on par with the super bowl's, but you are welcome to keep saying dumb shite if it makes you happy.

Spring Game attendance numbers
Hmm, nope. Your spring game last year had over double what your record baseball attendance all time was.
Facts?

This much I can agree with.
But a rolling stage is not all that difficult. In fact, here's one that Sugarland used when performing at the Atlanta Falcons game. From what I can find, they did it during halftime of a Falcons/Saints game in 2006.
