''Eh, we've only had poll titles under three different coaches, had undefeated bowl teams under 5 different coaches, won conference titles under 8 diffedrent coaches, and had ten win seasons under 12 different head coaches.''

Awesome stats, over what time spand did all this take place, and was there a point between great coaching staff did they have years that didnt mirror what the previous coaching staff had accomplished?

What are you trying to prove? Alabama is the only program with a SEC title in every decade. We've also managed to win poll titles in the 60s, 70s, 90s, 2000s, and 2010s. Alabama will be fine, much to your apparent chagrin. Now run along.

Again, nice stats, but that didnt really answer my question. And what makes you think im trying to prove anything? Its just a question about your football teams great stats.

Probably most 17 year olds would have a woody after this. Also, 4 more 1st rounders in the NFL draft would get my attention.

I think LSU was lucky to have Miles follow up with saban and do so well, but with how saban has ramped up this bama program (IMO) I cant think of someone taking his place and keeping this program running like that. Yes I said (imo) and bama fans jumped all over it.. why in the world does that create such a negative response? Why so confrentational?

not sure which of my posts you replied to or if you even meant to reply to me (the quote function is really easy, not being mean, it just gets confusing in here when posters just throw out a post randomly to whomever).

but, i'll respond.

i think it would be really hard to follow someone who might arguably be the best current coach in college football. he is certainly a top 5 recruiter/the best developer of talent.

alabama might have a miss after him, but alabama always manages to eventually come back. i do not think it would take as long as it did after coach bryant. the people leading the football program today have an entirely different mentality than those of the '80's, '90's & early 2000's...
