Kentucky total enrollment is larger than Alabama's?

University of Kentucky enrollment reaches record-high of 28,098

University of Alabama breaks enrollment record again, with 31,747

I have to admit, the numbers are closer than I thought, but Bama is still bigger. I forget about Auburn and that takes a lot of enrollment away.

So what's the argument here. Top program or worst sports program?

So you wouldn't agree that Alabama disappoints in their athletic department (particularly men's sports)? Especially with all that money?

If you take a small slice of the past three years then maybe. We have won two NCs in football, we were a base hit away from the World Series two years ago, and basketball is in the rebuilding mode although we got screwed out of an invite last year and made it to the NIT finals.

The main issue here is your absolute ignorance when it comes to what the SEC is doing outside of Gainesville.

Dr. Witt has made a huge push toward larger enrollment and more out of state kids.

Seeing how bad Alabama's bball team is and how shitty their season has gone, makes me wonder why they aren't competitive in other sports. You'd think with that big of a school, all those students, alums, money, boosters, etc they'd be relevant in other sports. This isn't just an Alabama bashing thread, but are they relevant (besides football) in anything other than women's gymnastics? They have to take the cake for most disappointing athletic department, if not one of the worst overall.

So if not Bama, who does have the worst sports program overall? Ole Miss?

It's not crazy to put us as the worst big 3 program in the SEC. Our powerhouse sport baseball has been down the last couple of tears and football has been horrific and basketball has been mediocre at best. But basketball and baseball are trending up so maybe we can get out of the cellar in the near future.

Edit: but Auburn sucks dick at baseball and basketball so...

We just one the National championship in gymnastics last year. Our softball program is easily top 3 in the country. Also, our golf programs are outstanding. baseball is hit or miss but we have been very successful in the past. Nice attempt at a flame tho!

In the state of Florida, UCF is largest by undergraduate enrollment...in Tennessee, MTSU is. I always shook my head at that.
