and frick I'll help you post pics of what the corps has become. If they can't recruit better people to join it they need to shut it down. At least lower admission requirements to the corps to get a bigger pool of HS people to draw from

The Hitler Youth Corps, the Lassie wannabe, the guys wearing prison jump suits sticking their thumb in the air, the mentioning of Texas University in the fight song.

By my calculations.....and they are scientific with a slide rule and a level....

Aggies are normal.

I thought the Flagship and SMS had serious lil man complexes but y'all take the prize. But at least they're trying with new dancing girls this year.

If there was an article about any student threatening to eat the face off another student for wanting to be a male cheerleader at any SEC school, it would make the Rant.

The Corp has nothing to do with it. Just a bonus.

and that bothers you why?

And our school isn't running the cameras when the games are on TV. They focus on the corps because it's unique.

Come to College Station and see what A&M is actually like

Go far it. Doesn't offend me. I make Penn St jokes. I'm not going to cry when somebody makes a bonfire joke. I realize they dont mean it personally.

ETA: I see your edit and we still have student bonfire it's just not on campus.

And I don't track A&Ms military history but have heard we had more officers in WWII than any other school besides the service academies. I'm too lazy to fact check that though

If you are interested here is the student bonfire website.

We didn't get to light it this year because of the drought but building of bonfire is what makes bonfire special. Not the burning

I don't know but the tradition will evolve. There were a few traditions that were tweaked when the SWC folded and we joined the Big 12.

I prefer it be the LSU game

I don't understand the problem? What wrong with face steak? It's quite tender and difficult to cook properly. The junior was kindly offering the freshman a local delicacy.

I, for one, would welcome seeing a gameday sign referencing A&M fans as face eaters. Hilarious as frick

Yes, I was in the Corps.

No, everyone was not like that.

Sounds like the fish might get a cool scar/story from it. I say to that guy, "Go ahead!"
