1. It's Tuberville's fault.
2. Eugene is a disciplinarian.
3. Cam Newton.

Processed..yes. Now we could go more conventional and just beat guys up psychologically, separate them from the team, etc...until they quit, but instead, our coaches are much more innovative. We do things like falsify medical records and plant ideas, like in the movie "Inception" of armed robbery. When guys like Freddie Smooth and Marcus Jemison get arrested for murder after we "processed" them under the guise of "breaking team rules" or "not being a good fit", I know it just looks like our coaches just made a very good decision...but it's actually just a total coincidence. I wish we could go about it the right way...like Saban does. I'm sure when he signs 3 more badass playmakers Wednesday, his promise to that grayshirt runningback out of Atlanta that he "only has 25 spots" and he was the 26th, will somehow still ring true. Saban doesn't lie...he does it the right way.

are no longer there
2011 is still 100% which is somewhat remarkable. The way things look, 2012 better stay at or near 100% as well.

Good job by Eugene bringing in some high character guys.

Already sorted this earlier...

By my count, 25 kids from those two classes are gone.
5 from graduation or the draft.
7 didn't qualify academically.
1 went to pro baseball.
3 went to jail.
2 have taken medical hardships.
7 have transferred to other schools.

Processed. Also, these shouldn't be included in this thread based on the title.

This article is new, but has been discussed thoroughly on the recruiting board. Yeah it's Nazi

I don't disagree with you. It's the Alahunter argument.
But that's how they got the 43% (technically, 42.4%). 25 players out of 59 "signed."
If you don't include those 8, the percentage drops down to 33.3% (17 out of 51). Doesn't make as good of a story.

I love how bama fans think it is a big burn to call Chizik by his first name.

However, even ignoring the misleading nature of the way many will spin the story, having that many transfer and/or not qualify is too much. With the new rules, the staff can't afford attrition like that in the future.

Mostly just the really dumb ones in their defense. Probably the ones that like to call people booger eaters as well.

I'm not worried with this staff and the non-qualifiers. 7 of the 8 who signed and didn't make to campus were filled in Chizik's first year, without a full staff, and with less than 2 months to try and salvage a recruiting class. 4 of those 7 committed to Tuberville.
Auburn has only had 1 NQ during the past two classes (Jeremy Richardson).
Some of the transfers are a little troublesome however.
