Another case of having great losses? Or just another case of the pollsters being completely clueless, similar to the ranking of VTech and Clemson (even with the additional loss). I fully understand that none of this matters at all at this point. But humor me.

Yes.
They beat everyone they played except the #1 and #2 team in the nation. Wisconsin beat everyone they played except halfway-decent MSU and crappy tOSU.
Pretty simple.

So finishing, depending on how you look at it, third or fourth in the SEC, is superior to winning the Big 10? Hard to understanding, no matter how "down" the Big 10 is perceived to be.

It's better to beat a bunch of lower to mid level teams and get blown out by great ones than to beat a bunch of mid to upper tier teams and lay one egg apparently

They laid two eggs...they lost two consecutive weeks.

They didn't get bent over and destroyed though.

Last year Bama finished 4th in the SEC West. MSU won the Big 10. Alabama beat MSU 49-7 in bowl game. You tell me.

I'm not sure what you think you just proved there. You sound like the writer in LA that continued to vote Boise #1 because they beat OU in the Fiesta Bowl a few years ago.

SEC > Big10.
But forget conference affiliations.
Losing only to LSU/Bama is more impressive than losing only to MSU/tOSU.

It proves that the Big 10 isn't as good as you think they are. Then again, the irony of all this is that Ark is the only SEC team to lose in a BCS bowl to that conference...

I guess we share a difference of opinion because this doesn't make sense to me.

If we're talking about the famed "eye test" ESPN analysts are continually referencing, Wisconsin should be ranked ahead of Arkansas.

Wisconsin just looks better than Arkansas.

Oh the patented, Herbie the Hypocrite telling voters how to properly vote earlier this year and then relying on the "eye test" to validate his current viewpoint. Herbie is so transparent.

It's ridiculous. I know Arkansas don't actually believe they would beat Wisconsin. Montee Ball would easily top 200 yards rushing.

That would be a disastrous matchup for Arkansas.
