Which group generates more revenue for the University? My buddy claims that it is the Greek system, and not Athletics.

I would say the amount of money spent by Greek affiliated students and alumni attending games, donations, and merchandise purchases equates to a healthy number. However that is still generated by the athletic programs.

There are alot of idiots in the Bama Greek system.
Some people take it way too seriously.
And the Machine is for spineless losers who are afraid to to have a mind of their own.
All that being said, I was in the greek system there. I had fun. But I also moved on from it after graduation. Some people never move on.
Like the previous poster alluded too. Would the revenue from donations, ticket sales, and merchadise be there if there was no athletic department???? Hell some would never even visit the campus again after graduation.
