More recently:

Forget 2008 - when JL was a true freshman thrown in to the fire. Since then, JL has the LSU record for 2nd most completions without an interception; he is 5-0 as the leader and starter this year; he has shown nothing but class. I'd say he has redeemed himself.

On the other hand, JJ's trend seems to be moving in the opposite direction:
Did you see JJ's final QB efficiency rating after being a consistent and coddled starter for many games????? Not to mention his other "record".

did you see his efficiency numbers after the bye week last yr? I think he was trending up.

He was a RS Freshman and basically was known to be second in line behind RP for a year. I do think he should be the QB unless he is hurt or JJ is running an option package.

JJ was a true freshman in 2008.

Look at that stats man 788 yds 5 tds. 169 rush yds 2 tds after bye week. Thats trending up. Lee had horrible stats too st beginning of year last year. Didnt have great ones against oregon and kentucky. Cant just look at everything so blindly.
