Posibility of 'Bama/LSU in BCS championship game

I know it's just a dream, but if the loser of this game ends up 11-1 and the winner 13-0 is there even a remote possibility they will play each other in January? I know Oklahoma must lose, but I think the 1-loss SEC teams trumps Boise State? Any thoughts?

I think it would take every other team having 2 losses.

If all that's left is a one loss LSU/Bama and Boise and everyone else has 2 losses or more, I still couldn't see voters putting LSU/Bama in. Media would flip their shite

The media is irrelevant in this equation.

Wisy , and the surfs have to have two losses. Stanford OSU and Ok state have to have at least one loss. That still leaves Nebraska.

What if a 1 loss Oregon gets there instead of a 1 loss LSU?

Since the loser will not have even won their division, the country won't let them play for it all.

They'll have at least 2 losses. Their schedule is hard a frick.

highly highly unlikely IMO
Boise would have to lose once, other major teams at least once probably twice (well, maybe not Oregon and West Va - they would probably be downgraded if LSU was still in consideration)
If you want a how it could happen scenario?
1) Wiscy/Neb each lose 2+ games
2) Boise loses one (seems unlikely looking at their schedule)
3) OU loses 2+ games (seems unlikely atm)
4) Bama wins every game till CCG and then loses to Florida
5) Florida loses to LSU and Bama in regular season but wins every other regular season game (beats Bama in the SEC CCG)
6) LSU loses an extremely close and maybe controversial game @ Bama and runs the rest of their schedule convincingly
7) Stanford loses 2 games
BTW - this would also put 3 SEC teams into the BCS... if Bama and LSU were ranked 1/2 and FLorida was an automatic qualifier from the SEC for the Sugar Bowl
Seems highly unlikely tho - losing your last game of the season probably drops you out of the top two

Plenty of teams would have to fall by the wayside.
Boise, Wisconsin, Virginia tech, Oklahoma, ok state, even Stanford, Texas and clemson.

Doubt it.

i should happen but will not happen

First, Bama would have to win a very tight game. No way Bama could take a loss at home and get in IMO. A tight loss by LSU on the road would leave it as a slight possibility.

Everyone but Bama and LSU would need 2+ loses, and the Bama/LSU would would have had to have been decided by inches.
And frankly, I don't want to see it.

IF we had playoffs, an all-SEC championship game would be a fairly common occurrence IMO.

About as likely as the 2006 Michigan-Ohio State rematch.

I thought they closed that loop after Oklahoma got in.
