SEC WEST

1. LSU (66)
2. Arkansas (49)
3. Auburn (46)
4. Ole Miss (40)
5. Alabama (33)
6. Mississippi State (17)

SEC EAST

1. Florida (66)
2. Vanderbilt (55)
3. South Carolina (48)
4. Kentucky (33)
5. Georgia (26)
6. Tennessee (17)

*Points were based on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 formula. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.

Very surprised we are picked to finish 2nd with everything we lost. I'd take it though.

Doesn't look that far off to me.

Who was the coaches pick for the Reg Season Champs?

Looks about right to me. Florida has the best returning team IMO while LSU had solid returnees along with the #1 recruiting class. Baseball, like basketball can swing in a hurry with freshmen contributors. The Florida-LSU series in BR the third week of March should be epic.

This series is going to be kick arse if both teams play up where they are projected.

How many of those kids ended up at LSU and not in the draft?

Well we did lose 4 kids to the draft from that class.

Didnt they update the recruiting rankings after the draft, and LSU was still number one.

My bold prediction for the West: (1) Ole Miss, (2) Auburn, (3) Arky, (4) LSU, (5) Bama and (6) MSU...

I think Mississippi is going to surprise some people and I think LSU is going to disappoint some people. I do not like relying on true freshman pitchers to have a winning season in the SEC.

I do think LSU being picked out of the West is indicative of the respect PM has amongst the other SEC coaches though.

We only have 1 weekend starter that's a true freshman and he was a 6th round pick
