All time what are some of the most disappointing seasons in the SEC. Here are 2 that I can think of right off.

Arkansas 2007- Schmidt, Todd and Welker for the weekend rotation. Went a combined 27-11. Hosted a Regional and lost to Ok-State. Schmidt and Todd went on to get drafted in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Vandy 2007- Alvarez, Price and Weathers won nearly every postseason award you can in college baseball. Overall Record was 54-13, winning the SEC and SECT. However they couldn't even make it out of their own Regional, losing to Michigan.

2005 - 2010 Ole Miss... All of 'em.

The most disappointing though are 2005 (losing to Texas in the Super Regional. Texas would go on to win the CWS) and 2009 ("Won" the SEC Title, lost to UVA in the Super Regionals due to an Evan Button error FOR WHICH HE WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN).

Speaking of Hoover and the Vols, does college baseball just not do much for Tennessee fans ? I know for a fact Tennessee as a very large fanbase in Metro Birmingham and whenever they do make it to Hoover, they don't have 10 fans pulling for them.

No one at all cares about baseball here whether we're good or not. We went to Omaha twice in the 2000s. 2K was a huge crowd for games those seasons. I've been to Hoover once. That year we had five players currently in the majors. I think I was the only Vol fan.

We were preseason top 5 in 2007 and barely made Hoover. Underachieved big time....

A few years ago State started 18-0 and was #1 in the nation for 3 weeks, then ended up not making the SEC tourney.

UGA last year. I mean I know we lost Poythress, Massanari and his bangin wife, Joey Lewis, trevor holder and dean weaver, but for fricks sake did we have to drop off THAT BAD?? (That bad meaning UGA had it's worst season in team histroy)

i dont remember how bad we lost at turner, but I know in Athens we gave up 20+ walks (it was a record number and I wanted badly to be drunk by the 2nd inning)

UGA's team last year was REALLLLLY bad. I am looking forward to the LSU/UGA series in March. I will be there with a UGA friend on mine.

first baseball games I can make it to this season is the FSU series. Otherwise I should make at least one game of each SEC home game (Sunday for the LSU series )
