The rankings of the teams going into the game are the exact same. #2 ranked Bama was the road team against #11 ranked Auburn in 1989. The rankings are idential with #2 ranked Auburn traveling to #11 Alabama.
I could see a 10 point win by the home team again. Alabama 34 Auburn 24.

I've been saying this for two weeks. Bammer is the most complete team The Barn has faced all year long. Add in the home game factor and it's a Bammer win.

Dont even try to compare this year with Mountaintop game. AU was jacked up because it was in Auburn for the first time.
