quote:

“We’re a better team than Arkansas,” Masoli said. “It didn’t show today, but we’re a better team and we believed it.”

That quote is apparently from his post-game comments.

How delusional.

That sounds like something PankReb would say.

We beat ourselves again.

Doesn't matter how good Masoli thinks we are if we don't even give the other team the opportunity to show what they're made of.

How did you beat yourselves? I'm pretty sure we beat you. It's not like you were just a few plays short of winning the game. We had our top 3 offensive playmakers out of the game in the 2nd half and still won by 2 TDs.

Ole Miss is 3-3 with losses to Jacksonville State and Vanderbilt. Your team just isn't very good this year, it has very little to do with beating yourselves. Your O line is awful and you have one of the worst scoring defenses in the country.

Uh, yeah. If it's from his comments, then I would guess that he said it. How fricking stupid are you not to know that?

Do you know what "apparently" means? I didn't have a source from a newspaper so that's why I phrased it as a question.

Masoli did have a good stats day yesterday. Passed for 327yards, 3TDs/0INTs and ran for 98yards....sounds like he's finally getting comfortable in Oxford

Yeah he had a really good second half. Can't believe he was taken out of the game on that wildcat play late in the 4th quarter.

Either that or he was playing a defense that had 60 hung on them the week before....

I do find it ironic that we rushed for more yards than Ole Miss and they passed for more yards than us.

Just because he's on the team doesn't mean he has infinite knowledge. He has an opinion just like everyone else.

I noticed that too. He was passing over the top of the defense. Our secondary has a long way to go.

No shite. Thinks how ugly it could have been if he had chunked the ball around all game.

well lets see

fumble, review, there 7 that shouldnt have been
fumble, reviewed, and returned for a TD, 7
blocked punt, 3
99 yard KOR, 7
avg start of auburn 47 for auburn
3 interceptions with one starting from the seven, 3
one from the 50, 7
one from the 40, 7

when your special teams suck spectacularly shiny ball sacks that day, we gift wrap 30 points and your avg starting position is the 50 on 12 or so possessions to only have 60 put on really isnt all that bad
