Heres the skinny:

- 2010 Goal- 10-2 and SECE
- Good showing in the SEC Championship
- Bowl game win will depend upon opponent

Alot of people worry about Murray being a RFr.

A consolidated OL with solid RB play and hopefully a better than average OC job being done (based primarily on the run, complex trapping and all, cannot say enough how important the run will be- and it's gotta be complex so that opposing Ds of quality don't catch on and they're always on their toes, plus throwing to the TD and screens if Ealey and/or King can catch), will take the pressure off the kid.

He then should be worried about dinking curls and going long to AJ after scrambling (Murray is mobile) and it being there.

The D will have to come aloooong way in Spring with the new system and iron the bugs out fairly quickly in order to have a chance for the aformentioned goal. The athletes are there, the new DC looks to be motivated and motivating, so, there is hope.

Here's the fat:

If the D doesn't gel, the OC hasn't been able to create a varied rushing attack, and we're forced to rely on Murray making plays, well, we may just be in store for a 6-6 season. God forbid, even worse. Although it must be said, Richt can coach QBs, and the learning curve may be straightened out in a "santiamen".

I thing the Bulldawg Nation will be happy with the team if they show attitude and discipline (what? WTF is that you're saying ).

Richt is another issue. Seems he is banking on these wholesale changes buying him time.

Many think I am staunchly anti Richt. I am not. I simply feel he has done a great job restoring and consolidating the program at a certain level which is still shy of the legitimate ultimate goal, but complacency has set it.

He has transitioned the program and consolidated it at the cusp of the goal. He is, at the moment, the champion of the transition, but may not be the one to get them "over the top".

We'll see whether he comes in this Spring full of piss and vinegar or full of hot chocolate and bite size marshmallows.
