This is such a terrible fricking take
-Time with family (biggest pro)
-no wasted commute time
-saving money on gas
-comfort of my own home
-flexibility to handle emergencies
-more sleep
Are all much more important to me than
-going to lunch (I never did that when I was in the office)
-having work colleagues as friends outside of the office (We have entirely too many friends as it is and do way too much shite on the weekends to have even more friends in the picture)
-Shooting the shite/watercooler talk (frick the shite shooters that would cruise around all day to find an open door to carry on a conversation about nothing terribly important while I'm trying to finish a project)
-Work/social events are more of a pain than enjoyable, we still do them and they are pretty meh
-I'm married so the last one matters zero to me
The "return to office" boomers are the career over everything people who have a shitty home life, no friends, no hobbies, and their entire life revolves around work
