So it seems.
If New Orleans is paying for these trips, surely someone would ask how that benefits the city.
Leytoya's scheduled trips
"When Mayor LaToya Cantrell returns to New Orleans this week from her latest overseas trip — this time to meet with officials and attend an economic conference in Doha, Qatar — she'll have been out of town on official business for the equivalent of three full months since the beginning of 2023, according to her official public schedules.
The Qatar Economic Forum, which is hosted by Bloomberg, runs from Tuesday through Thursday. City Hall declined to provide information on when Cantrell will return to New Orleans, but Monday would mark at least the 103rd day that the mayor has been away from New Orleans or traveling for more than half the day during the 17-month period from January, 2023 until this month.
That's the equivalent of about one out of every five days."

the good people of New Orleans need to come to grips with the fact Teedy has checked out on being an actual Mayor. City Council is as useless as it gets. NoLA is a ghost ship right now.
She gonna travel her butt off until she's finally out of office.
You know it. She knows it.
When you try to recall the Queen and fail, this is the result.
