The key is having the freedom to work because you *want* to work, not because you *have* to work.. Having that freedom means everything ; if the BS gets to be too much, you just walk away .. i can handle just about anything if i dont *have* to do it .

I retired just before turning 28 and I'm getting to the point where I wouldn't mind working 10 hours a week just for some money I can spend off-budget. It'll be a huge cut in pay from what I was making 2 decades ago (even bigger factoring in inflation) but my hobby (sports cards) has gotten expensive af.

I do a few projects a year and this summer we're transforming my son's old room into a sports museum. I've got just about every type of item signed and we finally put together the sketches of where we're putting up shelving, framed jerseys/pictures/etc. along with paint colors. I have loved working with my boys on the plans.
