I took the train from the Hyde Park area out to Wimbledon several years ago. It was a month or so before the tournament though. The train station is in the town of Wimbledon but you still have a pretty good walk to the tennis facility. The shop at Wimbledon is small. I would check to see if there is official merchandise available in the town before I tried getting into that shop. There is probably official merchandise all over London.

Toured it in spring on my only trip to England. Wimbledon is a beautiful village which makes the walk from the rail worth it. Grounds are much smaller than I anticipated. Impeccably maintained. Court 1 has amazing sight lines because it’s totally round.

Definitely check out a women’s match before watching a men’s match. The difference is palpable.

Total bucket list for me. I couldn’t believe I was actually there.
