It's nice to have a player who's loyal, willing to pay his dues and patiently bide his time. Becoming a rarity these days in college football. Nuss is a class act and a true Tiger. This team is in very good hands.

He’s going to have a tremendous amount of pressure on him next season. Hope he succeeds.

Plus the very much upgraded defense will help out his confidence as well

A lesson a lot of people here choose to ignore.

He knew he would have the keys. Let’s see what he does with them.

I don’t know about all of that “duty” and “obligation” talk. I think he saw that this was his best chance to be QB1 at a school the caliber of LSU, so he chose to wait it out. I have a similar philosophy in life that has served me very well. Make good, informed decisions and then be patient and wait for them to pay off.

In the fall, he will get his chance to be QB1 and I hope he lights it up!

Too bad God didn't have a plan for our defense.

Crazy all the hate he got thrown his way from posters saying he was going to transfer after his freshman year and after Daniels won the job in 22. Yet here we are

If he leads LSU to a National Championship he’ll take the top spot of my favorite Tiger ever.

Well, every play we didn’t score, half the people on here insisted he was the messiah. Hopefully they are correct.

Now this is how you went over a team and a locker room you make a commitment, you make a decision and you stick with it that’s he’s got character

The worst thing about NIL and the transfer portal is that it's telling college students that it's OK to leave a job for more money, fulfillment, and a role that that'd be better for their career long term. Loyalty means nothing anymore!!!!

(sarcasm font for the above)

Really glad Nuss stuck it out. He could have started just about anywhere he transferred to last year.

Really need a strong run game to not put too much on him and that gunslinging arm mentality.

If the bowl game showed us, he can be that dude.

He has his chance now. I have a feeling he’s going to make it count.

Also his cousin is there. They obviously have a close relationship. Helps on those days he may of wanted to leave. Seeing Gavin have success and knowing your time will come.
