Ruger 22/45

I picked up a used Mark III 22/45 recently, put a cheap red dot on it and got a chance to sight it in last weekend. At 25 yards I can cut holes with it, and I can't shoot a pistol for shite.

I would have held out for a Mark IV, but couldn't pass up the price

Bought the same from my brother a few years ago, really fun pistol, I just got a volquartsen competition kit and bolt to put on it, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of difference those make.

If mechanically inclined in the slightest, I would recommend doing the mods to remove the mag disconnect "safety feature" that prevents you from dry firing the gun without a mag in it, which makes taking it apart annoying AF.

You don't actually need to buy anything to do this mod. You can cut off the extra bits of the "safety disconnect" mechanism once it's taken out (shown in video at 4:45) and reinstall it basically as a washer.
