blindly throwing out statistics while completely ignoring the massive change in minutes per game for both of them as well as the massive increase in FGA for ward

Those numbers can do enough talking for me not to have to waste any more of my time giving you in depth detail.

Breaking news: player plays more minutes and gets more touches and accumulates more stats

and again, i would like to restate i said development was LACKING. not that it was nonexistent. your contention is more so that i'm saying players haven't been developed at all. my stance is that they are seeing some development, but not enough to make you overly impressed at our coaching staff's ability to develop players.

my basis for this opinion is largely based in what i see on the court. many players have consistently been asked to do things or play a role that they are not fit for. what we see on the court is reflective of what goes on in practice. i promise there were multiple practice runs where mike was PG and trae was SG. it is hard to develop as a player when you are consistently playing out of position or asked to do things out of your skillset to fit a coach's scheme, rather than that coach adjusting his scheme to fit the strength of his players. are we going to forget that a ball dominant guard like cam hayes was playing SF for a large portion of his year at LSU? say what you want about his ability as a player but you are doing the kid ZERO favors by making him play as an off-ball wing. how is he developing the skills that lead to on court production when he's being asked to do things out of his skillset?

He started to shine vs SELA as a PG and Hannibal logged 7mins and didn't score. Williams was 5-7 from the field with 15 points and 4assists.

You mean the game where we barely beat the 306th ranked Kenpom team by 7pts on our home court? I'm shaking in my boots.

Trae didn't score because that was back when the dogshit player that was Carlos Stewart was taking his minutes in the rotation. 17mins just to go 0-4 and score 0pts? Maybe if trae played his minutes the game would have been way less close.

Let's ignore a lot of the good games Mike had in conference playing SG against better competition.

once MM noticed he couldnt keep Hannibal off the floor, he had to put Hannibal there and slide Williams over off the ball because Hannibal is not an off guard.

Wow so MM noticed something I noticed at the start of the year and got downvoted for? I'm some rantard and he gets paid millions.

"Hannibal is not an off guard"
Yet he played a frick ton of SG his first season at LSU and even went in a game at PF.

Mike is an off guard. Go watch his highlights from back in HS.
